Now Playing!

Season 13

September 2010 – August 2011
Season 13

Mobtown is proud to announce its exciting 13th Season!

We kick off in September with Melissa O’Brien directing Five Women Wearing the Same Dress. Written by Alan Ball – he of Six Feet Under and True Blood fame – the show follows five bridesmaids holed up in a room and avoiding the reception. Throughout the year, we’ll be presenting our play workshopping series, The Mobtown Playwrights Group. We’ll stage three public readings of new plays, solicit feedback from the audience, work them a little more, and then bring one of them back in July for a run of performances. Then, starting in January, Caitlin Bouxsein brings Oliver Goldsmith’s classic She Stoops To Conquer, filled with mistaken identities, practical jokes, and conspiring lovers. In the spring, we bring you The Last Days of Judas Iscariot by Stephen Adly Guirgis – a humorous, moving, and thought-provoking exploration of Divine mercy versus human free will, directed by Mark C. Franceschini. Ben Jonson’s Epicoene, or the Silent Woman, helmed by Noel Schively, hits the stage in June with a wonderful “heels up.”

Friday and Saturday night performances at 8pm, with select Sundays at 3pm. Tickets prices will once again be $15 General Admission, $12 Students and Seniors. Tickets will be available at the door or through Brown Paper Tickets. We are sorry, but we cannot accept credit cards at the door.
